When I joined this program this year I was very nervous about going to Madison. I had this thought in my head that it wasn’t going to be fun all the way up to the day we left for Madison. When we arrived and we were all settled down in our chambers, I was surprised by how everyone was so nice to each other. The kindness was overwhelming. I truly felt like I was welcomed there. After the second day in Madison, everyone in the Press Corps felt like family to me; if you asked for help, there was no hesitation from anyone to help you. I hope that everyone else felt the same way, and that they will come back next year, and bring new people along for the ride. I know for sure that I am coming back next year and for many years to come.
