Naomi Ptak is a third-year delegate from Stevens Point. This will be her second year in the Legislative branch after finding a love for debate at her first CONA. She wrote her bill on how to restructure the funding of the State Parks. Naomi wrote this bill because she feels it would be beneficial to the parks and the people who use them. She is very excited that the bill is ranked sixth in the Senate. She is most looking forward to the debate about her bill and getting feedback from other delegates. Naomi is also excited to see her friends she has made throughout all of the years. When asked why she loved YIG, Naomi said, “It gives me a platform to develop my own political ideas and share them with the world.” She is sad that this is her last year in YIG, but is determined to make it her best.
